Vietnam Institute of Agricultural Engineering & Post-Harvest Technology receives the Prize “Golden Rice”

In the evening 14th ,November, 2012, at Hanoi Opera House, the first Vietnamese Golden Rice award Ceremony was co-organized by Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and Netmedia Joint., Stock Company.

The “Golden Rice” which is the only award of Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, is present for the collectives and individuals with high quality products, the new agricultural and rural development model, scientific research and applied technology on production and life in order to contribute to industrialization and modernization of agriculture and rural development and economic integration.

The 2012 Golden Rice Award ceremony was held on the occasion of the 67^th anniversary of the establishment day of the Ministry of Agriculture (14.11.1945 - 14.11.2012) - the predecessor of the current Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. Attending the ceremony were many other representatives of ministries, agencies and mass organizations at the central and local levels.

The awarded 56 teams are the collective, individuals with typical products, representing nearly 300 products in the different fields. They are the invention, useful method, scientific research & technological development work, crop-plants variety, domestic animal, agricultural technological materials, new agricultural and rural development model, agricultural product brand.

Vietnam Institute of Agricultural Engineering & Post Harvest Technology honors to receive 02 “Golden Rice” in the 56 collective, individuals. They are:

1.      Author. Doctor. Chu Van Thien and coworker, Product “Technological process and processing equipment line the seed with high quality and medium & small scale”.

 2.    Author. Doctor. Nguyen Nang Nhuong and coworker, Product “Synchronous equipment line of cattle-food processing with 6-8 tons/hour scale”.

It is the acknowledgement for the effective contribution and agricultural & rural development career of nation and institute. The Vietnam Institute of Agricultural Engineering & Post-Harvest  continues to keep the achievement and contributes for the agricultural & rural development and the new rural construction of nation.
